So I caught myself being witty the other day... My boss asked, "How are you doing?"
Rather than respond with, "Not so good... since my Grandad passed a couple days ago... not so great, because my Gram is pretty soon to follow... Not wonderful, because Ive struggled to find sleep... Pretty awful, since my friend is leaving and will no longer be available to donate baby making stuffs...," I responded with, "If life is not tough, then you are just not living it...."
True? Very possibly true....
So the universe (God) threw us a bone today. We called everything off this weekend due to emotional distress. We spent a lot of time down in my tattoo room... and we have cleaned... and watched mindless television... and tried with all of our might to avoid moping around. Then, this morning I catch news from our past donor that he will be in the area tomorrow and is willing to donate. Considering my OPK is positive today... I am nervous to miss the window AGAIN. However, I am super excited to at least have a small chance.
Also, we found a possible donor connection in a neighboring city. This opportunity is so exciting. This would allow for a more "strings free" relationship. This would also give us an advantage in that the donor is well versed in the role he is playing. I pray that he is as philanthropic as he seems upon initial review... I pray he is the miracle that we have been waiting for. Please, oh please, Mr. Head In the Clouds, please help us make a rainbow.
Speaking of rainbows... here is a little loveliness I would like to impart from the best song in human history.. My opinion only, though it may be...
"Why are there so many songs about rainbows
and what's on the other side?
Rainbows are visions, but only illusions,
and rainbows have nothing to hide.
So we've been told and some choose to believe it.
I know they're wrong, wait and see.
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection.
The lovers, the dreamers and me.
Who said that every wish would be heard
and answered when wished on the morning star?
Somebody thought of that and someone believed it.
Look what it's done so far.
What's so amazing that keeps us star gazing
and what do we think we might see?
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection.
The lovers, the dreamers and me.
All of us under its spell. We know that it's probably magic.
Have you been half asleep and have you heard voices?
I've heard them calling my name.
Is this the sweet sound that called the young sailors.
The voice might be one and the same.
I've heard it too many times to ignore it.
It's something that I'm supposed to be.
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection.
The lovers, the dreamers and me."
So Cindarella has this monster list of things to accomplish this year, (Im sure that I have already and will continue to reference this list) and because of this list... she was made to watch the first for Star Wars films. Can you really believe that she had never seen any of them before? It really blew my mind... I should also state that watching them in true episodic order (for a first timer) may not be the best idea... Please check out Cindas blog to get her take on the whole experience. I never thought someone would refer to Darth Vadar as "baby daddy."
Here is to having a week much better than last!
